The UCAN Senior Sports Day celebrates physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership among our senior students. The event fosters healthy competition, enhances camaraderie, and promotes holistic growth by encouraging students to balance academics with sports and outdoor activities.

Highlights of the Day
1. Opening Ceremony (8:00 AM - 8:30 AM)
- House flag parade by Grades 6 to 12.
- House captains take the Sports Day Oath.
- Speech by the Principal emphasizing resilience and teamwork.
2. Student Sports Events (8:30 AM - 1:30 PM)
- Track Events:
- 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints.
- 1500m endurance race.
- Relay races.
- Field Events:
- High jump.
- Long jump.
- Shot put.
- Javelin throw.
- Team Sports:
- Soccer matches.
- Volleyball tournament.
- Basketball 3-on-3.
3. Leadership Challenge Activities (1:30 PM - 2:30 PM)
- Obstacle relay race to test strategic thinking and collaboration.
- Tug of war between house teams.
4. Parent and Teacher Sports (2:30 PM - 3:00 PM)
- Soccer: Parents vs. Teachers.
- Relay race for parents and staff.
5. Awards and Closing Ceremony (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
- Presentation of trophies to the winning house and outstanding individual athletes.
- Sportsmanship Award to recognize fair play and teamwork.
- Vote of thanks by the Sports Coordinator.
Additional Details
- Refreshments: On-site food vendors will offer snacks, drinks, and light meals for purchase.
- Safety Measures: A first aid station will be staffed by medical professionals throughout the event.
- Parent Involvement: Parents are encouraged to cheer for their children and actively participate in designated activities.
