3-5 Years Old
Early Years
U-Can International’s Early Years program is designed to inspire independence, creativity, and self-expression in our littlest learners.
U-Can provides a solid foundation for learning with the two academic programs: Kindergarten and then Foundations. Upon graduating from Foundations, your child will be a confident learner equipped for success.
Grades 1-6
Primary
Underpinned by the Canadian International Curriculum, Primary School at U-Can provides a solid and varied foundation for students’ lifelong learning utilizing our beautiful Ugandan context.
During Primary, students continue exploring their personal interests and gain an insight into a greater variety of subjects, for example, learning to play recorder, French as a second language and social studies.


Grades 7-8
Middle
During this period of transition, students are supported in a progressive, student-centered learning environment by our qualified and experienced teachers. Students graduate prepared to continue their secondary learning at U-Can or transfer to other curriculums.
Students continue to explore and develop their personal interests in all areas whilst learning beneficial skills such as citations & referencing, time management and digital learning.
Grades 9-12
Secondary
U-Can International students graduate with the internationally recognized and renowned Ontario Secondary School Diploma. In all aspects of U-Can school life, students are encouraged to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a changing world.
Our innovative academic program has plenty of opportunities for students to develop their critical thinking, leadership skills, and community service. We prepare every student to leave U-Can as global citizens ready for the 21st-century world.
